Tree Stories. Sheridan Road Elms 1848-1948 MediumIn partnership with the Chicago Architecture Center, our popular Kenilworth Walking Tours are returning this summer with a new route! This year’s tour, “Kenilworth-South: Wright, Maher, and Burnham”, explores the village’s most notable homes south of Kenilworth Avenue and east of the railroad tracks. Discover a range of architectural styles and learn about the accomplished architects behind them, including Frank Lloyd Wright, George Maher, and Franklin Burnham.

The two-hour tour is offered on seven different dates (see above). Each tour begins at 1:30 PM at the Kenilworth Train Station (400 Richmond Road) and concludes at the Kenilworth Historical Society, where attendees are invited to explore the gallery space and view the current exhibit, A Well-Lived Home: Exploring Kenilworth’s Lost and Preserved Architecture.

Tickets are available through the Chicago Architecture Center’s website at Kenilworth-South: Wright, Maher & Burnham | Chicago Architecture Center. Members of the Kenilworth Historical Society are eligible for discounted $10 tickets. To receive the promo code, please contact us directly.
